Content Writer - Crypto & Blockchain

We are now looking for a Content Writer to research, write, proofread and publish online 100% unique content. The Content Writers’ responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication. The Content Writer will write clear and concise copy for ads, publications and websites. Your words will inform and engage target audiences. 

Ultimately, you will produce engaging quality content that speaks to our audience and boosts engagement with our brand.

Main Responsibilities:

• Write articles and marketing copy to promote our products and services
• Write a clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice and publish engaging content
• Prepare well-structured articles drafts using Content Management Systems
• Proofread, re-structure and edit copy written by yourself and other content writers before publication
• Craft and send out a monthly newsletter
• Source images and other content
• Generate new ideas around industry-related topics
• Develop a content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
• Manage the editorial calendar and ensure timely publication
• Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Optimise published pieces using SEO guidelines
• Use SEO principles in your content to maximise copy’s reach
• Promote content on social media
• Update our website and social media pages with new content
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Interview industry professionals and use online sources to research topics
• Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection)
• Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw the audience’s attention

Experience:

• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, copywriter or similar role
• Portfolio of published articles
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Familiarity with web publications
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Hands-on experience working with WordPress
• Ability to meet deadlines
• BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
